The Galmont Hotel & Spa is often praised for its modern and sleek interior, with spacious and clean rooms that generally meet guest expectations. Many appreciate the wide selection offered at breakfast. It's conveniently located within a short walk to Eyre Square and traditional pubs, though some guests have found certain aspects, such as the 'sea view' rooms overlooking Lough Atalia, less impressive than anticipated. The leisure centre, including the outdoor jacuzzi and heated pool, is also frequently mentioned as a highlight.

the location is fantastic! i found under-hotel parking convenient, matching area rates. breakfast was good. the hotel's proximity to the city center meant taxis weren't necessary, a definite plus.
The ac unit seemed to struggle. Despite showing a very cold setting, it didn't cool the room well. it made sleeping a bit tough, but nothing major.
